Tommy Igoe gives helpful tips on importing the Groove Essentials Play Along Disc tracks into your computer. 

• Open iTunes, make sure advanced preferences are set for "mp3 import", not AAC.
• Insert the disc in your computer
• When it appears on your desktop, drag the entire disc image onto your main library and it should start to import as MP3's into your main library.
• Sometimes windows media player interferes in the importing of discs into iTunes, you may have to try windows media player if this fails.

Also, on Windows machines, some people have reported when all else fails by importing track by track. There is no copy protection on the disc, so if it appears on your desktop with all 88 tracks listed, then the disc is okay.
