Joe B. is the real deal. As a former student I gotta say his dedication to not only the art of drumming, but the spreading of the magic of music is aweinspiring. I remember him taking me and 4 of my friends to one of te first MD fests and putting up with us bratty kids then teach us in our following lessons the various fills mike portnoy (for example) used and how his feel is different from that of steve white (or whomever) and how each suited the style of music the artist aimed for. I’m so glad to see that he has continued to progress in the industry and now has taken teaching music to a whole new level.
